About GG Solutions
Built for the Sydney engineering market.

I've spent my career in technical recruitment, and over time the work that consistently held my attention was engineering. Engineers are precise about their craft, sceptical of fluff, and they expect the same from anyone who's helping them with a hire. That suits me.
GG Solutions Australia exists because Sydney's Civil, Structural and Geotechnical market is its own thing. The major projects pipeline is unlike anywhere else in the country, the tier-one consultancies here have their own ecosystems, and the talent pool is small enough that being a specialist matters. A generalist recruiter in Sydney spreads thin across thirty industries. A specialist gets one shot at this market and uses it well.
The business is run as a solo operation, augmented with internal tooling that handles the manual work, so the time I spend talking to candidates and clients is the time that actually matters. No team of account managers to navigate. You email me, I reply.
Good recruitment is honest about what it knows and what it doesn't. If a candidate is wrong for a role, I'll say so. If a firm isn't the right environment for a particular engineer, I'll say that too. The placements that last are the ones where everyone was straight up at the start.
While Civil, Structural and Geotechnical engineering is the core focus, I'm always open to a conversation about roles outside that scope when the right client asks. If you're looking for an engineer or a wider construction industry hire, the conversation starts the same way.
How we operate
Three principles.
Specialist depth
Civil, Structural and Geotechnical, first and foremost. Sydney is the home market — NSW and the rest of Australia covered when the project calls for it. Depth in a defined market beats breadth across many.
Candidate-led
Start with strong candidates, then find them the right firm. The conversations that lead to a placement begin with knowing what an engineer wants next, not with a brief from a client.
Operator clarity
A solo operation. No account managers between you and the recruiter. Direct contact, fast turnaround, and the same person on every call from intro to offer.
